The Fresno Monsters hockey team brings family fun and entertainment to downtown Fresno and the Selland Arena_ With an overall record of 33-3 in their first season. the Monsters have delivered a hanging-by-the-edge-of-your-seat. cheer bursting. and crowd roaring competitive performance to Fresno and surrounding communities The club incorporates several other activities. giveaways, and events along with their time on the ice such as -Meet the Player` nights. their -End of the Season Banquet-. and involvement various organization within the Fresno community.
The Monsters have brought hockey back to Central Valley citizens with never before seen ability and an immense appreciation for their loyal fans. Solidifying their presence as a formidable contender in the Western States Hockey League (VVSHL). the club will be expanding into the NAHL (North American Hockey League). The Monsters were granted conditional approval for an expansion of membership by the NAHLs Board of Governors. Though. they will still be contending in the WSHL during the normal 2010- 2011 season. The future is bright for all involved in this new club
