Imagine H2O + BlueTechValley

Collaboration with Imagine H2O Another Step to Move the BlueTechValley Effort Forward

Imagine H2O and the Claude Laval Water, Energy & Technology (WET) Incubator have signed an Memorandum of Understanding to provide entrepreneurs with the opportunities, tools and resources to build great water businesses. This partnership facilitates access to each partner’s programming resources.

Imagine H2O is a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire and empower people to turn water challenges into opportunities.  It is recognized as a global ecosystem and path-to-market for water entrepreneurs.

“With aligning missions and a global water crisis, it was a natural fit to partner with Imagine H2O,” said Kirk Nagamine, CEO of the Central Valley Business Incubator-SBDC. “Solutions will come from greater collaboration and these two organizations realize that ego cannot get in the way when it comes to supporting innovation in the area of water technology.”

Both programs provide support and mentoring to entrepreneurs and businesses that are advancing water technologies. Imagine H2O’s annual business plan competition attracts a global field of entrepreneurs and features a judging panel of leading water experts.  The winning companies enter Imagine H2O’s Accelerator Program where they receive professional resources and market insight.

The WET Incubator offers commercialization support, access to a state-of-the-art lab and testing facility as well as office space for emerging companies in the water, agriculture and energy sector.

“Partnering with the WET Incubator provides Imagine H2O with a strategic hub in the heart of the Central Valley” said Scott Bryan, director of operations with Imagine H2O. “This collaboration establishes an important bridge for entrepreneurs pursuing water innovation in the agriculture and energy sectors.  Imagine H2O looks forward to introducing new water businesses to the WET Incubator while providing Central Valley entrepreneurs with access to our network and resources.”

Following the success of the recent BlueTechValley Water Conference, the Central Valley region continues to attract national attention from like-minded organizations. The collaboration with Imagine H2O will further position the Central Valley as a leader in water and energy technology and innovation.  For more information visit www.imagineh2o.org or www.wet.cvbi.org.
