Cynthia Teniente-Matson assumed the position of vice president for administration and chief financial officer at California State University, Fresno in 2004.
Prior to her appointment, she served as vice chancellor for administrative services at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Over a 15-year career at the University of Alaska, Matson held numerous positions there, including director of business services.
Matson received her bachelor’s from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in management and her MBA from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
