Ready to go beyond tired, old advice like "don't forget to make eye contact?" Learn how to obtain powerful presentation skills from public relations professor and 16-year PR pro Betsy A. Hays, APR. She'll share strategies and tactics that have proven to be effective in any speech or presentation situation.

Topics include:

  • Top 10 anxiety busters
  • What to do before you even begin to prepare your talk
  • Organizing your presentation so your audience will get your message AND your call-to-action
  • Mastering the art of speech delivery
  • What to wear to achieve maximum credibility with your audience

It will be held Thursday, Sept. 6, from 6 – 8 p.m. at CVBI’s Launching Pad at 1630 E. Shaw Ave., Suite 163. The cost is $32 for CVBI members and $48 for non-members.
