Central Valley entrepreneurs and business owners have the opportunity to learn core business fundamentals at the Central Valley Business Incubator’s new single-subject seminars. As part of CVBI’s expanding business services, these seminars introduce business basics -- most in a single session. The courses feature engaging, visual presentations and are well-suited for start-up companies, sole proprietors and small businesses. The first offering – Maintaining Balance Sheets – will help business owners read and understand this financial statement. It will be held Tuesday, Aug. 7, from 6 – 8 p.m. at CVBI’s Launching Pad at 1630 E. Shaw Ave., Suite 163. The cost is $32 for CVBI members and $48 for non-members. The course will be led by Robert Luciano, who has more than 20 years of experience in the I.T. industry and six years of concurrent accounting experience. He has owned a computer consulting firm, worked in computer forensics helping the U.S. Secret Service and the California High-Task Crimes Force, and holds 13 industry certifications. He is currently the owner of Robert's Accounting Services in Clovis. For more information or to sign up, contact CVBI at (559) 292-9033. |
